My Husband, son and I took a long sunday drive through the Owyhees, it was nice to finaly have some us time with no cell service, no tv and no dirty house around me saying "clean me"! There were some great sites, an old cemetary from the 1800's, an old school house and this amazing bull.

Jamie & KC

I would first like to give a huge shout out to my friend Lance Foster. He is an amazing photographer, supporter and friend. I was not sure I was going to even make it to my first official wedding shoot but I did. However Lance was right there for me to help out if I couldn't. You can check out his stuff at www.justisphoto.com. I hope to one day have the talent he does.
The wedding was wonderful. It was beautifully small with those whom the bride and groom hold close to their heart's. I so appreciate Jamie giving me the opportunity to use my novice skills to bring out the best moments on her day. I wish Jamie and KC and the happiness in the world and my their love bring them a lifetime of riches.
To you Jamie and KC....

1st Wedding

So I am packing for Northern Idaho. What a perfect time to have a wedding. I am so looking forward to using my new canon 7D on a beautiful bride and her handsome man to be. With jitters I say this because it is my first wedding. The expectations are high and I do not like to be one that disappoints.
Because of my back injury I have had to turn many family sessions down in th past week which I feel so bad about. I love taking the pictures and seeing what silly faces the kids can make. Granted they often are not in the mood at all but occassionally I get a grin.
So please wish me luck on my wedding venture and Happy Holidays to all.

Live each day like it's the last!

I am sure that many of you would agree but sometimes it takes a sad reminder to make us realize how precious each moment is. I look at the pictures I have taken or have been taken of my son since he was born. I think it is wonderful how a simple picture, smell or sound can take you back in time. Of course this can bring up feelings of sadness, happiness and or anger. This just proves that we need to keep certain articles to bring us back in time. Those moments helped to shape us and should not be lost. So until your time is expired live like its your last, taste the finer things in life, realize the more you see the less you know and tell those close to you how much you love them. So loves to all my beautiful friends and family. Thank you for all your love and support.

Thank you

First off I want to say thank you to all my beautiful friends and their beautiful children for being my practice models. It has been fun and I hope you have enjoyed the pictures.
Photography is definately something that takes years or a lifetime to perfect. I know I am at the bottom of the spectrum but hopefully my skills, talent and expertise will grow rapidly.

I am working on a website to showcase more photos and really get all of this up and running but it may take a little time. Until then if you have been happy with your experience please pass me on to friends and family. If you have not please let me know what I could have done to make your pictures and picture taking experience better.

Thank you all for your love and support!
